Maddy Bates

Maddy Bates is a former collegiate softball pitcher who competed at both Randolph-Macon College and Saint Francis University, gaining experience at multiple levels of NCAA competition. While pitching at Division I Saint Francis, Bates made 16 appearances with 6 starts and logged 40 innings in the circle against high-level hitters. Known for her competitiveness and command, she consistently challenged opposing lineups and demonstrated the ability to perform in pressure situations.

Originally from Northern Virginia, Bates played softball at Bishop O’Connell High School, where she was part of multiple state championship teams and developed the strong fundamentals that carried her into the collegiate game. With years of experience competing at elite levels, Bates brings a deep understanding of the game to her instruction. She focuses on pitching mechanics, infield development, and overall softball fundamentals, helping athletes build confidence, refine their skills, and develop the mindset needed to compete at the next level.
