The School Holiday Day Camp is a full-day, indoor baseball and softball camp held on days Fairfax County Public Schools is closed. Our camp dates are scheduled around the FCPS calendar — student holidays, teacher workdays, and winter break — so when school is out, your child has somewhere to go that beats another day on the couch. Campers get real coaching in hitting, fielding, and throwing while parents get reliable childcare for the day.
Camps run all school year, grouped into fall, winter, and spring. Fall camps run September through early November, winter camps cover winter break in late December plus the January and February student holidays, and spring camps run March through mid-June. Register for any two-day or three-day camp and receive 15% off. See the dates listed above for the full 2026 – 2027 schedule and to sign up for individual days.
Camp is $125 per day. New for the 2026 – 2027 season: register for any two-day or three-day camp and receive 15% off. There’s no membership required — book only the days you need, whenever school is closed and you’re not.
The School Holiday Day Camp is built for ages 7–12, with campers grouped by age and skill level so everyone gets level-appropriate instruction. Beginners and experienced travel-ball players both fit — coaches adjust the drills to meet each group where it is. No prior experience is required.
Camp runs from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM (arrive 5–10 minutes early). Campers rotate through hitting, fielding, and throwing stations, compete in HitTrax and pitching-machine challenges that sharpen reaction time and coordination, and mix in speed, agility, and reaction-based training throughout the day. It’s high-energy and structured — kids are moving, competing, and coached from drop-off to pickup.
Campers should bring a bat, glove, and helmet, turf shoes or tennis shoes, and a bag lunch with snacks and a water bottle. Please leave cleats, seeds, and gum at home. Campers are supervised by our coaching staff for the full day, including the lunch break.
Camp is held entirely indoors at HammerZone Sports, 9709 Fairfax Blvd, Fairfax, VA 22030 — so camp runs on schedule regardless of rain, snow, or cold. We’re convenient for families across Fairfax, Vienna, Centreville, Chantilly, Burke, and Northern Virginia. Questions? Call 571-307-5888.
