Frequently Asked Questions

The camp runs Monday, March 22 through Friday, March 26, 2027, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM each day. Those dates line up exactly with Fairfax County Public Schools spring break, so campers get a full week of training on the days school is closed.

Register for the entire week — all five days — for $350 as a single payment, or drop in for single days at $95 each. Booking the full week saves you $125 versus paying for five individual days, and locks in your camper’s spot for the whole break.

Campers train from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Mornings focus on position-specific baseball instruction with the HammerZone coaching staff — hitting, fielding, and throwing work built around each athlete’s position. The day also includes a high-intensity performance session with Coach Eric Rhodes, developing the speed, strength, and explosiveness that carry straight into the spring season.

No experience required. Coaches group campers by age and skill level and adjust drills so every athlete is challenged appropriately — whether they’re new to the game or already playing travel ball and preparing for tryouts.

Yes. The camp is held entirely indoors at HammerZone Sports, 9709 Fairfax Blvd, Fairfax, VA 22030, so spring break weather never cancels a day of training. Families join us from Fairfax, Vienna, Centreville, Chantilly, Burke, and across Northern Virginia.

Campers bring their own bag lunch, snacks, and a water bottle. Our coaching staff supervises campers for the full day, from 9:00 AM drop-off through 3:00 PM pickup, including the lunch break. Bring a bat, glove, and helmet, plus turf shoes or tennis shoes — no cleats indoors.

Camp is led by the HammerZone baseball coaching staff, who deliver elite, position-focused instruction, alongside Coach Eric Rhodes running the performance training sessions. It’s the same staff that trains our academy and travel athletes year-round — so your camper is getting real coaching, not just supervised cage time.
