Since 2023, Emily Royce has been a member of the varsity coaching staff at both Lake Braddock Secondary School and Robinson Secondary School, where she currently serves as Varsity Assistant Coach. During her time coaching at Lake Braddock, she helped lead the team to both district and regional championship wins. During her playing days, Emily was a competitive, high-level travel softball player in Northern Virginia throughout middle and high school. She was a four-year varsity player at Robinson Secondary School from 2016-2020.
Emily works closely with athletes to develop their skills, confidence, and understanding of the game. Her background in hitting, outfield play, throwing & catching allows her to help players grow through an emphasis on consistent mechanics, mental toughness, and overall softball IQ. She is passionate about creating positive, energetic, and challenging environments where athletes can build confidence in their abilities to reach their full potential both on and off the field.
As a former player and current coach, Emily understands the dedication, discipline, and mindset required to compete at a high level. She brings the same energy and attention to detail into every training session, helping athletes strengthen their fundamentals while developing the work ethic and confidence needed to succeed in competitive softball.
