It’s a 4-week pitching academy at HammerZone Sports in Fairfax, VA, led by our coaching staff, including former college players. Across four sessions, players work through drills, competitions, and discussions built around the concepts that show up in elite-level pitchers. We use training devices throughout to measure and evaluate each player’s progress.
The academy is $250 per player and includes 4 sessions, one per week over four weeks. Each session is one hour.
There are two academy blocks in summer 2026, both on Fridays. The July academy meets July 10, 17, 24, and 31. The August academy meets August 7, 14, 21, and 28.
Each academy night runs two age-based hours: ages 8–10 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., and ages 10–12 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Every session is capped at 5 players, so spots are limited and instruction stays hands-on.
Players should bring a bat, glove, helmet, and a water bottle. Wear tennis shoes, turf shoes, or molded cleats — no metal spikes. Please leave seeds and gum at home. Plan to arrive 5 to 10 minutes before your session starts.
