The KZONE Elite Pitching Program is a four-day-a-week training system designed to develop complete pitchers through a blend of data-driven evaluation, mechanical refinement, and performance development. Athletes begin with monthly metrics testing and data tracking to measure progress and identify movement patterns that impact performance. Through video and motion analysis, pitchers receive detailed breakdowns of their arm path, sequencing, and timing to enhance efficiency and consistency on the mound.
Each training day includes daily drill packages built to reinforce proper mechanics, along with a comprehensive arm care routine featuring pre-throw activation and post-throw recovery work to protect long-term durability. Pitchers follow a customized velocity development program that includes on-ramping, velocity phases, pitch design, and recovery protocols. Focused pitch development sessions sharpen pitch shapes, improve spin efficiency, and create repeatable release points to enhance command.
To support power and resilience, athletes train through a complete performance routine that includes strength training, mobility work, and full-body movement development. Strength and power training incorporates multi-joint lifts, medicine ball throws, and plyometric work to maximize force production and energy transfer through the lower half and core. Dedicated mobility training targets the hips, thoracic spine, and shoulders to unlock range of motion and improve mechanical efficiency. Finally, the program emphasizes rate of force development and speed strength through contrast training, band-resisted movements, and velocity-based lifts that translate directly to faster, more explosive mound performance.

Gardner Meeks is currently a Graduate Assistant Coach for the George Mason University baseball program, where he assists with pitching development and program operations. He is also pursuing a master’s degree in Sport Management at George Mason, with the ultimate goal of becoming a Division I head baseball coach.
Under the guidance of Head Coach Shawn Camp—a former Major League pitcher with over a decade of MLB experience—Meeks continued to refine his game. As the team’s closer, he posted a 4-2 record with 4 saves, a 3.23 ERA, and 55.2 innings pitched over 26 appearances.
Meeks brings his playing experience, leadership, and work ethic to his coaching role, where he is committed to developing student-athletes on and off the field. His passion for the game, paired with his academic and athletic background, position him well for a rising career in college baseball coaching.
HammerZone is equipped with all the tools a pitcher needs to develop and take their game to an elite level. Our 70-foot cages allow weekly bullpen sessions and live ABs with Trackman, while our HammerZone Performance Lab gives pitchers access to plyo balls, med balls, water bags, mounds for dry drills, and wall racks for full-body performance training needed to develop the complete pitcher.
