Assessment
The initial assessment gives our Driveline Certified Instructors the opportunity to collect baseline data and individual skills to detect areas of needed improvement.
Test-Retest
Take the guesswork out! Our professional instructors will test and retest using data collection equipment such as HitTrax Baseball Simulator, Blast Motion Sensors, and Rapsodo Tracking Technology to assess each hitter’s development.
Simulated At Bats
Using live pitchers or machines, live at-bats will show the hitter’s development in a live batting situation.
Take the next step in improving your game! The HammerZone Sports Youth Hitting Academy will focus on the “3 Pillars of Hitting” that will improve hitters of all ages and improve in-game results:
- Bat Speed – Increase Bat Speed and Exit Velocity to hit for more Power
- Bat to Ball Contact Ability – Catch more barrels by working on improving “Quickness” to the hitting zone and “Length” through the hitting zone
- Swing Decisions – The best hitters make good swing decisions. Learn to make decisions tailored to your strengths as a hitter
