We are thrilled to welcome Brock Hunter as our new pitching instructor at HammerZone Sports. Brock brings a wealth of experience and passion for baseball that will inspire and develop our athletes.

A local talent from Great Falls, Virginia, Brock played high school baseball at McLean High School. He continued his career at Coastal Carolina University (2013-2015) and George Mason University (2016-2017), appearing in 100 collegiate games and throwing 200 innings, including summer league play.

Brock began his coaching journey as the pitching coach at Lake Braddock Secondary School from 2018 to 2023. In 2020, he became the head coach of the Silver Spring Thunderbolts in the Cal Ripken Collegiate Baseball League. He currently serves as the head coach at Winston Churchill High School in Potomac, Maryland. Additionally, he ran the Waves Baseball travel teams out of Maryland from 2021 to 2024.

Brock’s extensive playing and coaching experience makes him a valuable addition to HammerZone Sports. His dedication and deep understanding of the game will be a tremendous asset to our program. We are excited to have him on board!
