Hunter Crews is a seasoned strength and conditioning coach with experience across military, collegiate, and private sectors. Most recently, he coached for the U.S. Army’s Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F) program at Fort Jackson, leading initiatives for Soldier readiness, recovery tracking, and specialized programs for SFAS, Ranger, and other elite courses. In Columbia, SC, he also coached Olympic weightlifting at Powerhouse Functional Fitness.
>Previously, Hunter served as an adjunct professor and sports performance coach at Division III Averett University, working with multiple teams, including the 2022 conference champion women’s tennis team. He also held roles at Division II Mars Hill University, leading training for weightlifting, soccer, lacrosse, and more.
A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, Hunter served nearly eight years in the Reserves, guiding fitness for his unit and supporting combat readiness. He holds a B.S. and MBA from Averett University and an M.S. in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology from the University of Florida. He is certified by USA Weightlifting and the NSCA.
