A Virginia native, Michael grew up in Richmond before attending Radford University, where he left a lasting mark on the baseball program. During his time at Radford, he earned numerous accolades, ranking in the Top 5 for career ERA, wins, strikeouts, and shutouts, and setting the school’s single-season wins record.
In 2015, Michael was drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the MLB Draft and went on to play at every level of the minor leagues. After undergoing Tommy John surgery in 2021, he signed with the Minnesota Twins, where he pitched at both the AA and AAA levels. Most recently, Michael spent a season playing in the Mexican Summer League, further expanding his international experience.
With over a decade of professional experience, Michael brings an elite level of knowledge and skill to our Pitching Program. He specializes in helping athletes refine their pitching mechanics, focusing on the key aspects of the pitching motion and optimizing each athlete’s throwing form. Whether working one-on-one or in group settings, Michael’s passion for player development and his deep understanding of the game make him an invaluable mentor for aspiring pitchers.
